Where are you even getting an output from? The majority of motors won't generate power if run in reverse like you're saying(even if they did and you joined the leads together they'd just short out). The ones that do require a rather precise range of revs and the motor needs to be hooked into a circuit with capacitors.

Motors don't work like that. Either your multimeter is fucked or you're doing it wrong. Hook an LED or another motor up to the so called power emitting motor and see if either work.
