I recorded this video in an AC/DC concert in Bilbao (that's where I live). The concert was just amazing. After seeing The Answer opening the atmosphere was great, and suddenly that video and that huge train and BAM!! there they were. 2 hours of AC/DC.

So, what concert do you consider the best of your life?

I saw The Chemical Brothers live at Olympia in London last year (possibly the last tour they would ever do) and they were just.... beyond amazing.
Everything from the set list to the visuals.

Rammstein concerts are amazing. They're playing in Bilbao soon (don't know what day exactly) and I have no ticket :(

Indeed they are. The best shows I've seen are Rammstein and Mushroomhead, But the Mushroomhead show was Old-School.

Iron Maiden (Opening act Anthrax) , May 31st 2008 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.

While my seats were shitty, my first time seeing Iron Maiden was legendary. I had heard tales and stories from friends, family, and fellow metalheads of the show they put on. When I arrived, I was not disappointed.

Runners up:
Judas Priest
Metallica

Well I first time saw Iron Maiden during their A matter of the Beast show - 6.6.2007 - it was awesome ash hell - new album + oldies....but as I said - my best concert was year after in Prague...I was in the front row in front of my the most favourite guitarist of all time - Janick Gers. It was realy great! He even pointed at me with guitar and kneeled down and gave a smile to me :). I was happy better than child with new toy that it always wanna! And when he was doing his "throwing-guitar-into-crowd" trick. It was much better than sex :D

The best band that I have ever seen live was the Bronx at Leeds Festival 09. They were on at the same time as the Prodigy so I was a little gutted to not be able to see them both. However, their set was so unbelievable and the crowd had just the right amount of people in. Such a good atmosphere and the band weren't shy about getting acquainted with the crowd. It was great to see and I don't regret choosing them over the Prodigy one bit.

Kanye West in 2006 was awesome. It was shortly after the release of his second album when Gold Digger was still big and the majority of the audience new the words to all of his songs, even the ones that never got any radio play. And there was a surprise appearance by Lupe Fiasco.

Atmosphere was also amazing. I think he played for a solid 2 hours at least and the crowd was really cool.

Snoop Dogg was fucking awesome as well. We had spent pretty much an entire day in 90 degree weather but everyone was still hyped for Snoop. I think everyone there knew the words to every song he did. Even the "Hail Mary" tribute to 2pac.

And for my final concert I'd have to say Wu-Tang Clan back in 2007. At one point they asked everyone to put up their lighters/phones for ODB and the place just lit up. It was one of those moments you never really forget. I'll edit when I can find a picture of it.

Edit: Not the picture I was looking for but this will have to do.

Found another

Chocoholic, I like your taste in music.

I haven't been to very many concerts, but Rise Against was probably my favorite. I got all the way up to the front, knew all the words to all the songs, and had a blast. Went crowd surfing a lot too.

I've been to an absolute ton of gigs but there's been a few that have really stuck in my head, can't really remember dates and i'm far too comfy right now to get up and find my tickets.

Green Day at the Milton Keynes Bowl on the Sunday of the Bullet in a Bible DVD, was my first gig and I fucking loved it, Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday made pretty cool support as well. TBS have been great the other times i've seen them, smaller venues really added to their performance.

Angels & Airwaves put on a hell of a show, Tom DeLonge even had motherfucking laser goggles and the support was You Me At Six who were pretty sweet.

AFI was fucking brilliant, partly because about 10 of my friends were there as well, and they just generally do a really great live show.

Lostprophets a couple years back were awesome, I was dying of thirst but didn't leave the crowd for a second, TBS supported them as well which was cool, but not the best TBS set i've seen.

Taste of Chaos a couple years back was cool, the lighter/mobile phone thing happened when The Sleeping played, and they signed my ticket later on. I was really into some of the gay bands playing that year so I loved it at the time.

Machine Head + Trivium was amazing as well, The Black Crusade tour with Dragonforce and Arch Enemy on the bill as well, missed Shadows Fall cus of a late train but then I met Herman Li and the other dude, got some pictures and a scribble on my ticket, just a shame Dragonforce suck.

YES - amazing set list, energy through the roof, great band, and everything. He played stuff from all throughout his career, but with a satisfying focus on his stuff from the 70's. He even played a few from the "From the Inside" album that I didn't expect to hear, and it was fantastic!

I've seen The Rolling Stones, Kansas, Satriani, Mountain, and a few others, but the Cooper show was by far the best. I had been excited for MONTHS, awaiting this concert. It didn't let me down for even half a second.

That's really cool. I've seen a couple of older bands that have been really disappointing. Where you almost wished you didn't go to the concert because they lost all of their magic. Blondie was awesome though. Deborah still had it after all these years. I missed most of the concert but got in just as they were doing some of their big hits.

Man I'm jealous. Cooper is amazing. That's a concert to remember forever.

I Set My Friends On Fire--They may be a relatively new band but, after seeing them live, I'm dying to see them again. I don't know whether it was the shirtless bass player or the keyboardist in a hot dog suit, but these guys are definitely worth checking out.

I saw Nine Inch Nails at the Rose Garden in Portland a couple years back, with Queens of the Stone Age opening for them. That was probably the best show I've ever been to, NIN are incredible, and that was back when Aaron North played guitar and Jordie White played bass. Fucking fantastic.

The only other show that rivals that would be Dir en Grey playing the Hawthorne, but that's such a shitty venue. Although I'm sure when I see them later this month in San Francisco at the Filmore it will be incredible.

Anyway, it was very much like this: God... Aaron North just makes that guitar wail... so fucking beautiful it makes my hair stand on end.

Atmosphere is 2 people. But they're the best concert I've ever been to. SLug had tons of energy and they played for over 2 hours. Ant was being a bad ass spinning records with one hand and downing beers with the other. The opening act was Abstract Rude who rocked the house despite most people not knowing him.

My second favorite is Ice Cube who played all the best stuff from his whole discography and had cool mash ups of old songs with the Dogg Pound.

I know that. I should've said they but I always think of Atmosphere as just being Slug for some reason. I think it's because Blue Scholars/Common Market has spoiled me so much. Sabzi has crazy crowd interaction. I don't think I've ever really seen a DJ have that much personality. I guess I'd add both of those groups to the list. They've never had a bad show.

Oh man. That had to be awesome.

Snoop Dogg opened his set with The Next Episode which was perfect considering the first thing said was "IT'S THE MOTHERFUCKIN D-O DOUBLE G". And then he even played Nate Dogg's verse so everyone blazing it up could yell out "smoke weed everyday". Which was pretty much everyone since it was during the Blazed and Confused tour.

It'd have to be a two-way tie between the batshit insanity of The Flaming Lips this year in May, with their confetti cannons and streamer guns and gigantic balloons bouncing around the crowd. They just created such an infectious energy that everyone in the tent was so into it, it was awesome.

My other would have to be Fleet Foxes, on a sunny afternoon, in a valley with their incredible harmonies sounding even crisper live than on record. I couldn't believe they could recreate their sound so well in a live setting, and it sounded so good booming around in that valley. Perfect acoustics, and just an incredible set.

I would say crüe fest was my favorite. 6 hours of non-stop rock with 5 pretty big bands, it was awesome.

Second place would go to stone temple pilots with the flaming lips and three days grace supporting. P.s the flaming lips have very trippy shows.

Fucking oath. I saw NIN live for the first time a few months ago. Got plenty of video footage that I havn't bothered uploading, but yeah it was fucking awesome. 2 and a half of the better hours of my life.

The other performances I've seen that really stand out are Pendulum at Origin on last new years eve, Justin Timberlake's Future Sex Love Sounds tour, and Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics tour.

Pendulum's set up wasn't that great and it didn't really compliment them, but they are a massive drumb 'n bass band and they performed everything live. I thought it would be a couple of guys on decks and a couple of guitarists but they actually had a live drummer and it was truly fucking amazing.

As for Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, (I went with my girlfiend at the time) they were simply spectacular performances with extremely high production values, and even though I don't even like most of their music, I was thoroughly entertained.

I gotta second Alice Cooper's current tour. The show is amazing, if you're a fan then do NOT miss the chance to see him. This tour is just awesome.

My runners-up would have to be Kreator who I saw a couple of weeks after Cooper. Their show was full of energy, and Mille is still angry, which can't be said for most thrash frontmen these days. Carcass deserve a mention as well, their show changed me forever. The pure energy their Death Metal assault made me remember how much I love Metal.

KISS and Morbid Angel get honourable mentions as well, for still having the energy and being able to put on a kickarse show.

I don't think I've ever been disappointed after seeing a band I like.

I'd have to say the best of the few I've been to is Radiohead. The first time I saw them was in the summer of '03. They were touring for Hail to the Thief. It may have actually been late summer or fall, cause it seems like it got kind of cool. But, the weather was nice, and I had pretty good seats. They did this cool version of We Suck Young Blood that I'll never forget. Thom Yorke was playing piano and there was a camera and one end of it that he kept grinning into, and of course it showed up on the big screens they had. It was kind of creepy/funny to watch.
Also, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks opened for them. I didn't know them at the time and actually didn't even know Pavement except by name. So, seeing them there got me into all that stuff.
