This one was doing fine until someone let their own personal vendetta get in the way of making explosm better. It really wasn't the actual thread's fault.

A lot of people do. It was stupid to delete it. I believe spastic didn't do it the second time, which makes the second deleting even more dumb. At least the first time, I could see why.

1) it was easily the most heavily moderated thread on explosm, so no one can say it was horribly derailed or shat up by anyone.

2)No one even cares about the quality of threads anymore. We had a quotemonster thread in the GF, that only got dumped once porn was posted in it. So don't tell me it was because it was a shit thread, that doesn't matter nowadays.

3)People actually want the thread. Most threads people don't give a shit what happens to it, but a lot of people (including myself) actually want it. I don't care if shit comics are posted all the time or if people just flame the shit out of each other, those stupid rules were just to appease mods who would delete it. It's pretty dumb to delete one of the few potentially entertaining threads on explosm for no fucking reason, or for a stupid fucking reason.
