Which then brings us to the point of Tempest. Why are you still defending him when all that's going to reveal on the next round is that you're either a rebel or a rebel sympathiser? No offense to you or him, but with all this proof, spastic has to be a rebel.

Don't forget, just because person A protects person B, doesn't mean they are on the same side, they just have been fed enough information to assume they are on the same side. For all you know one could be a corp and one a rebel, accidentally siding with each other as a civ?
You're thinking of past games too much; you need to think of all the opportunities this game gives you vs the last. |

And here I was thinking I half-solved a clue
But oh well, good job Alco/Insein. Therefore, given the new proof, I'm going to go with Spastic. And about Tempest, I know that defending someone does not necessarily put you in the same team as the one defended but when you have like 3 direct clues pointing to a person and you still ferociously defend that person...well, it does seem a bit suspicious.

To be fair, he only defended him at the two first clues. He haven't said anything after this third clue.

I actually consider this a little bit more damning than if he had kept defending him or switched sides. It means that he has nothing he can say to defend Spastic, but really doesn't want to vote for him. If he was a civ that had been tricked he'd have spewed some more bull that made Spastic look innocent or realized that Spastic had lied to him and switched sides.

A somber group of men gathered around an oak table in the boardroom of StickCo Headquarters. Three seats remained empty.
"The rebels got Alcoholic", one despondant man spoke. "Not only that, but it turns out, our target, a baker by the name of Tempest was just that, a baker. No link to the rebels." remarked another Director. "Be sure not to let that get out. We can't have it known that we killed a civilian, it'll just drive more to their side." One man added. "Lighten up, Iztutuz." A grinning man intruded as he stepped out of the elevator. "Oh, B.Chuck, I almost concluded that those scoundrels had gotten you too." Replied the man apparently named Iztutuz. "Hahaha, not even if they tried, my friend. But I do have have some good news." B.Chuck's grin spread even wider. "Thanks to civilian hints and tip offs, we found their base. The bad news was there was but one person in there. The good news was that that person was their leader." He threw a manila folder on the table. Quote:
"Don't celebrate yet, roaches have been known to still be a nuisance after decapitation." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "First BKS, now Roserna." spoke a bearded man, a tag reading "DB&G" hung off his dingy jacket. The rebels had fallen back to their emergency HQ, "The Alamo" as they dubbed it. "He knew the risk of doing this. It would be naive of us to believe we wouldn't suffer casualties." Spoke a hooded figure. "We shouldn't dwell on it. This is our new headquarters. We need to keep fighting." "but, Herofilus, we lost all our notes and resources in their raid. Do you honestly think we have a chance?." "By my counts, we both have lost two members. We just killed that Alcoholic fellow, leader of the propoganda campaign. I don't see any reason to give up yet." The gang of defiant derelicts found logic and hopes in their new leader's rhetoric, and determined to see their rebellion 'til the end. |

So, what does the leader of a group do? Why is it a big deal that we killed him?
All teams are even now, right? Also this is a pretty weak link, but The Alamo reminds me of KOC. Cause it's like an old west type deal, i think. |

Damn, it's surprising that Tempest was a Civ. I guess he must've received some false information from Dodger or Ben to defend Spastic so heartily. Oh well, even teams still.
So, clues for the Rebels: 1. "HASORUDFOH@JPDLO" 2. "DB&G" 3. "The Alamo" 4. "Hooded figure" 5. "Herofilus" 6. "Derelicts" I'll post if I find anything; off the top of my head, the only thing I can gleam from those clues is the Derelict reference, which could tie in to the fact that DoctorButt has his name in her sig. As well, it was mentioned last update that there is a female on the Rebel side, and Doc. Butt is female. The posting of "derelict" is likely a red herring though, too obvious. And sig's can be changed easily. |

Also, when I googled Herofilus, Herophilos came up. He was a Greek DOCTOR.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herophilos So Doctorbutt is a possible suspect, and I believe there's a female on the Rebel side. Make of this what you will. |

First result for DB&G is Dehring Bunting and Golding, a Jamaican company. I get a feeling this isn't what we're looking for.
edit: also no he dealt with blood and brains and stuff, no mention of butts in it. However, he did make a lot of discoveries about the reproductive organs and genitals. Scrotemeal is a girl and also has a genitalia reference in her name. |

I think I owe you guys some sort of help, since these are probably the hardest clues yet.
1)Google won't help you much, or at least not in first step of figuring these clues out. 2)Civilians will probably know some helpful tidbits, though it's hard to say which one's can be trusted. You might also receive some help from a crazy recluse. 3)These are some really fucking vague clues, research will be needed. You first need to figure out what the fuck you need to research. |

Dunno if these are on purpose or not, their the only things "out of place" I could find.
Yeah I think the clues in this update will go a lot deeper then what we've seen so far, gonna take some time to look through all these.

Also I agree with the whole DoctorButt may be Herofilus thing. The person in the update is a girl I think, considering the girl in the one before that is cloaked as well. That and Herophilus was a doctor and etc... It's a bit of a stretch but it's all we really have so far. I'm more inclinded to try and figure anything else out before I vote.

And, while I am aware this does not excuse her as it may be just a trick to gain trust, DoctorButt did vote for Spastic the last round. Nevertheless, Spastic was almost dead by that time so her vote didn't change anything. EDIT : sorry for the numerous edits but I don't have the time to make a big ass post about all clues so I take them bit by bit as I find the time to do so. I was thinking about the DB&G thing. The first thing that crossed my mind was, given that it was related to clothing, the famous D&G, Dolce & Gabbana, suggesting that whoever that rebel is, he's wearing fake clothing, thus either pointing to it being a fake clue or pointing to someone related to being fake or something. God damn, that was an outstrech ![]()

Yeah, it's because I've seen many people in real life wearing "Dulce & Banana" jeans and that gave me this idea. I donno about it, though.
Nevertheless, wasn't Zeus always presented as an awe-inspiring figure with a white beard? (like most gods, to be honest). |

I agree, and there have been quite a few references to Ancient Greece aswell. However, I feel we need to make sense of "HASORUDFOH@JPDLO" before we can start making any accusations.

I thought of that too. And the hooded figure could point to someone who lives in the darkness/hates light and, considering the definition Tempest gave us, that's what a grue does. Meh, I donno.

OKAY, so putting HASORUDFOH@JPDLO through a Caesar Cipher gives you EXPLORACLE@GMAIL. People should try it and see where it leads.
