Spriting Contest [Under New Management]

Since Savaril left the other thread to die, I'll take over. Of course, I sacrifice not being able to join, but I will post sprites just to participate, but will not put myself against anyone or compete.

I think it's best we have 8 people sign up, so first come first serve.

It's 9:00 p.m. here, so I'll wait until noon tomorrow (my time I guess, figure out your time difference) to close it, unless 8 people join before I log out tonight.

Waiting Limit:

Exactly 24 hours after I post what should be made is the deadline.
Sooner if everyone posts it before it's up.

Editing Sprites:

If you wish to edit your sprite, post that you're editing it so I don't assume you just haven't posted it.

Disqualification:

There's no way you can really get disqualified unless you do something drastic, to be honest.

Competitors:

You'll be picked at random, just like the last one. Only I'll literally pick names from a hat, that way it's not fixed (I_smell).

Oh, and one last thing. I've decided to allow 16 members only if by noon tomorrow 16 people join. The first 8 to join will have their spots locked in, so no matter what you'll still participate.

Hopefully everyone will join who wanted to before, and we can carry this on better than the last.

EDIT: Before I get timed out or this thread becomes closed, I created a duplicate of this thread because I didn't create the other, making me powerless to have control over what happened in the other.

You should go to my thread and count off all the people who wanted to join there, if they wish to be dropped out from the contest they can do so.

Most of them aren't online right now.

Alright we have our eight, what you need to do will be posted at noon (one hour from now, I don't know your time zones).

Just like the other thread, we'll start off easy and work our way up. I'm drawing names as we speak out of a hat to determine who's against who.

The results are in, and it couldn't get more random.

The first objective in this challenge is to create your very own missile and its explosion. Be creative, I know you're thinking it seems rather dull, but you always start off small and work up in a competition. The missile should be no bigger than 100 x 50, and the explosion no bigger than 75 x 75.

I shall enjoy watching this! BEGIN! You have exactly 24 hours, which is the maximum time. If all 8 are in before, I'll go ahead and make a decision.

I went for a missile launcher with missile to add a bit of detail rather than just a stick with some flames out the back.And of course, they have to hit something or it's a waste of a missile.

You gotta think more about what the objectives are going to be.

Start off small, work your way up. And hey, maybe if you hadn't left it to die you'd be running it your way.

Woah, looks like I'm up with some tough competition, especially considering I'm useless at drawing. Well, I'll be doing mine after work today, so it'll be up in about 10hrs or so, unless I get bored and do it at work.
