I have never heard of Aiden before, and now I'm sure I never want to hear (of) them again. They suck so horribly it's not even funny.
They also have the style of a dead cat, which I would think is somewhat of an achievement.

Sadly, I've seen them play live a while back at the House of Blues in New Orleans.

I was there mainly to see HIM play...even though I don't really care for them. It was for my dumbass girlfriend at the the time(she is into retarded emo music).

But yea...they were there, and my dumbass girlfriend was telling me the whole time "this is a really good band!!! LOLZ HAR HAR HAR"

I do agree that they are poor musicians and products of the consumer society we live in, but instead of wasting your time declaring the obvious you could maybe do something a little more productive?

ok so this kinda made me really mad to read. First reason. I Love Aiden. Yeah I said it so what their a very good band.(i dont only listen to that kkinda of music here's the first 5 bands of my itunes on shuffle. 1. Protest The Hero 2. These Silhouettes 3. Lamb Of God 4. We Shot The Moon 5. In Flames. There i'm not an emo freak)

I dont know if you play and instrument. But there is no way you can say a band is bad at playing music. and lyrics. why do u you even bother writing about how bad the lyrics are. Listen to the tragically Hip their lyrics are bad but they still kick ass. Images of bands change all the time it's nothing new at all. And whats wrong with the gay image thing (im not gay myself). Some of the best bands are gay R.E.M., Franz Ferdinand.

I guess what im trying to say is we all hate bands. dont waste your time by doing stuff like this. because u make it seem like anyone who listens to this is majorly f'ed up.

When I started reading I was thinking (hoping) that you might of been playing it up and they really weren't all that bad. You only need to watch their video's on youtube to see that they are the biggest piece of trash in quite some time. It's funny though to see all the die-hard Aiden fans rush to their defense though.

Hi, I'm new here, and when i saw this topic, i gotta say i was a tiny bit mad.
Aiden tbh, are my favourite band, and they have helped me out loads. Fine they might not look like the happiest men ever (or in some of your opinions, in One Love they do.), but thats just because of the genre they are. If you were in a band like that, and you dressed like that because it made you happy etc, would you stop for the case of some people who disagree with the message your trying to put across?
I'm taking it you've only heard Die Romantic etc, and yes i agree they arent the happiest songs again, but people like it. If you heard their latest album, Conviction, then you'd actually know what a great band they are.
I saw them earlier this year in April, and it was the 2nd time i'd seen them, and they were absolutely amazing. I saw them April 07' aswell, they were a support band, and i'd never seen the crowd that wound up tbh. They are an amazing band live, and they have amazing lyrics to their songs, and im sure you'd all recognise that if you stopped judging them on their looks and judged them on their music. Like wiL Francis, your blatantly judging him on his looks, when if you actually read interviews etc with him, you'd realise he's a totally different person from how he looks.

and Umbra, 'die hard fans', if someone had slated your favourite band as much as they have with Aiden, i'm sure you'd do the exact same thing as people are doing now.

And now i reckon i'm just gona leave you all with a wiL Francis quote, just so you can actually see that he's not a stupid depressed piece of 'trash', that he's actually a person and one that has influenced so many people, obviously not you lot.
