You are allowed, but having your own style gives your comics a different feel, other than just some copy of C&H. If you had good art style, and a weak joke, it would pass much, much more than a comic with terrible art and joke.

I don't think you should be allowed to post C+H style stuff in this thread, just in case it degrades into fucking fan art 5.0.

Liss'er!
That said, some proportion issues with his torso, and the mask looks a little shifted. And if anything else, the gun doesn't look as detailed. Pretty good, overall. |

His whole bottom half looks relatively uninteresting. Also that looks like an impractical way to hold knives.

Draw his package bigger then, or something. The fly of his pants looks like the crack of someone's ass. The gun also looks like a hair dryer. Women, they just can't give up old habits!
Yeah other than that it's quite nice. |

Proportional issues are secondary to the problem of the pose as a whole. Parts of the body are just not reacting to each other.

This is quite old. From about a year or two ago, when i had quite limited resources, hence the fact i only use felt tips. I didn't think it was one of my best, but it got me commendations and so on. Enjoy!

That's pretty good considering your resources, the only comment I would make is that I can't help but feel that a phrase like 'Music = Life' is toeing the line of serious wankery but for all I know you put it in for a reason so whatever, good work.

Yeah, I don't see how "Music = Life" is pertinent to the piece. I like the patterns and the neat use of felt tip colour blending, though.

Reminds me heavily of 80's/90's street art (I don't know which, since I was really around then)...most of its gone now, but I remember it pretty vividly.

I love street art. I've always wanted to go to the licensed section of graffiti in paris. I remember someonme did a stop motion animation using street art there. Fucking amazing. Thanks for the critique.

The whole point of this thread is to get feedback on your art. And Dacada's right, it's terrible.

I really didn't think it was that horrible. However, don't complain when someone shoots it down like that. And when several people do it, its usually a clear indication that you need to stop defending it and look at it critically, and improve the fuck out of whatever your doing.

A shot at me attempting to learn how to normal map (using ZBrush for sculpting, maya for modeling the basemesh).
![]() The model's details (the wrinkles that look somewhat like scars etc.) are all part of the normal map texture. The model's unwrapping is somewhat buggered hence the hair/beard being buggy. Also I apologise for the large image. EDIT: Forgot about stupid forum permissions, re-uploaded.

That's fine, we can't even see it, because we don't have permission, because you linked to some file attachment on some forums. I suggest you upload it somewhere else.. and then just link to it if it's really that big.
