It's not letting me vote for myself.
EDIT: now it is. After like 3 times pressing that button it took me to an empty page... bleh. |

Oh man oh man this was a close one. Dodger because Norik hates pokemon.

Norik had the creativity on lockdown but Dawger's made me laugh more, and I like his art style better. Plus the Team Rocket reference and the MJ puns.

I went for Norik 'cause of his art and creative juices. Also, that ending was great and the fact that he put in such effort is admirable.
PS: Hating pokemon isn't a reason to vote for the other guy. |

The whole Lost thing kind of ruined it for me, sorry Norik. Both were good though, I really enjoyed this one.

I really hope Norik wins (sorry Dodger). I preferred his humour and his style. And I love the lost references in the last one (although, JJ hardly has anything to do with Lost nowadays).

I can't vote, since Norik's comics wouldn't load.

Give them time. They should work. Try refreshing a bunch of times.
And besides, all you have to know is that mine kicked ass. |

May you rot in a maggot-infested pit for as long as Bernie Madoff is in jail.
Norik, holy sweet Jesus, fan-fucking-tastic. That set a precedent for first-round epic finishes, and obviously the Lost references won me over in a heartbeat - I could even recognize Damon and Carlton before you identified their names. Well done with the smoke monster etc. For using pop culture as an aid, that was pretty fucking amazing. Dodger's MJ references were alright but they seemed a little run-of-the-mill even though they were well-executed. Aside from my Lost rant, the art was a toss-up and I found myself more drawn to Norik's style of creativity and humour this time. Good job both of you.

Seems like Norik's getting friends to vote for him.
I enjoy'd Dodger's more. |

I preferred Norik's. The finale was great because, well, I think Lost is dumb as fuck and it was a pretty good skewering of the whole thing. Was close though.

This was a really tough one. But, I think Norik's epic ending just edged him over. Both were great, and both actually made me laugh. I wish you both could go on.

Norik, if only to see this plot device possibly furthered. Both were great though. |

Yeah, but getting your friends to log on/register and vote for you seems like cheating, dunnit? At any rate, I think, this is one close poll.

Even if you are pulling a bitch move, it's not gonna stop me from supporting you by virtue of edging out Dodger. (Not that Dodger's comics were bad by any stretch.)

The art was exactly the same. I went with dodger due to his comedic style. Although the mindfuck thing made me laugh, I don't watch Lost.

You mean the Michael Jackson and Pokemon jokes? Yeah, those sure were great and not in any way unoriginal.

It was a close one and I really liked Norik's finish but Dodger's just about won it for me on humour. I don't care how old the MJ joke is, first time I heard it I gave a slight chuckle but seeing it in Dodger's comic actually made me laugh out loud.

The art was very similar which made it very consistent and both were very creative.
So the deciding factor was the humor. Norik's made me smile but I was just lost on the whole Abrams thing. Dodgers actually made me laugh with the juvenile humor. So he gets my vote. |

I found Norik's to be more "flowing" if you get me... The whole brother thing to escape a facefull of stabs seemed a bit too easy, and plus, by the end I was MINDFUCKED so badly it was insane.....

I wouldn't say it was easy, actually pretty clever since he took advantage of the fact that Norik didn't bother with a first name, I know I wouldn't have thought of that.

Three hours left and Norik only need three votes. Damn this is the craziest poll in the tourney yet and it's only Round 1.

This shall be crazay. And I'm cool with not winning, because then I'll physically have to make more comics, but it would be fun. |
